Terms of Service

1. Service

HELIX is an AI epistemic auditing tool operated by Martin Lepage (PHAROS AI, Quebec, Canada). By using HELIX, you agree to these terms.

2. Use of Service

HELIX is provided for legitimate AI governance, research, and evaluation purposes. You may not use HELIX to generate harmful content, circumvent safety systems for malicious purposes, or violate applicable laws.

You are responsible for your own API keys and any costs incurred with third-party providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google).

3. BYOK and Third-Party Providers

When using Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) mode, your API key is used only for the duration of your session and is never stored on our servers. You are responsible for compliance with your third-party provider's terms of service.

4. Paid Plans

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months except as required by Quebec consumer protection law.

5. Intellectual Property

The PHAROS Method, HELIX protocol, and all associated documentation are the intellectual property of Martin Lepage. The software is provided under a commercial license; source code is not licensed for redistribution.

6. Limitation of Liability

HELIX is provided "as is." We are not liable for decisions made based on audit results, API costs incurred, or any indirect damages arising from use of the service. Our maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Quebec courts.
